GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., (July 13, 2017) – The Ludington Boat Club is hosting its 29th Annual Fish Fry/Boil and Auction to benefit Hospice of Michigan from 1 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 12 at the Ludington Boat Club, located at 502 Lake St., off of S. Washington Ave. in Ludington, Michigan. Suggested donation is $10 for adults and $5 for children.
The menu features boiled salmon, fried Pollack, French fries and a variety of side dishes, topped off by an array of homemade desserts. A quilt raffle, featuring a handmade creation by the Country Quilters Club will be part of the day, along with live and silent auctions. Attendees will have the opportunity to bid on auction packages, including a spirits tour and tasting for four at Long Road Distillers. The Boat Club is currently seeking additional auction items, especially those related to boating and fishing and other sporting recreation.
“The Ludington Boat Club is proud to continue this great event that supports Hospice of Michigan’s mission, vision and values,” said Steve Leedham, Ludington Boat Club commodore. “Proceeds will remain in the community, allowing Hospice of Michigan to provide hospice and palliative care to patients and families throughout the Ludington area.”
Since 1989, the Ludington Fish Fry/Boil and Auction has raised more than $297,000 for Hospice of Michigan.
