Hospice of Michigan to host Crocheting Through Grief support group

LUDINGTON, MI. March 12, 2018 – Members of Ludington and surrounding communities are invited to attend Crocheting Through Grief, a monthly grief support program hosted by Hospice of Michigan. The group will meet on the first Monday of every month starting April 2 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at the Hospice of Michigan office located at 5177 US-31in Ludington.

Participants will learn basic crocheting skills as they discuss grief and loss topics based on the interests of those in attendance. Blankets created during the session will be donated to a local hospital. The focus of the group is to practice self-care skills of “creativity” and “giving back.” Beginners and experts alike are invited to practice a creative outlet for their grief in a non-judgmental environment.

The event is free and open to the public, regardless of whether or not a loved one has received care from Hospice of Michigan. For more information or to register, please contact Katie Gedraitis at 231.845.3423 or kgedrait@hom.org.
